Enrolling Your Child
Enrolling your child/ren is as easy as One-Two-Three, just follow the three simple steps below.
ONE
Investigate the School’s Out options available in your region by clicking on the centre page you are interested in (or via the drop-down menu above). Once you have found your preferred School’s Out centre, move to the next step.
TWO
Select the programme/s you want to enrol your child into and hit the “Book Now” button. This link will take you to our online booking platform ‘Enrolmy’. If you are a new customer you will be prompted to set up an account and complete the Safety Form’
THREE
Once logged into your Enrolmy account, simply choose the days/sessions you wish to book your child into. The Manager will confirm your enrolment/booking. Remember numbers are strictly limited at our centres, so be quick and get your booking in early!

We
are passionate about quality childcare!
In 2007, we set out to provide a great service for children and their families. A place where incredibly talented and passionate people could make a positive difference to the lives of children.
We knew back then that we had to create a culture that would foster that greatness and in turn create amazing child-centered ‘special places’.
From humble beginnings, this philosophy has remained our central theme and as we move forward on our journey, we aim to ensure that we hold true to our beliefs and deliver a ‘best-practice’ service which is delivered by people who are dedicated to and are passionate about the welfare and development of children.
Although facilities and equipment are important it is really the ideas, talents and energy of the people that is going to make a real difference.
Activities
School’s Out is not school. It is a time for your children to relax and enjoy themselves. There is no compulsion to participate in any particular activity. Children are presented with a choice of activities in specific locations. It could be quiet reading, it could be a board game, it could be a boisterous game outside, it could be a quiet chat with some friends, it could be working on one of the computers. Activities are usually planned with a weekly theme in mind with staff guiding the children to make it a memorable experience.
Our Staff
A qualified and experienced manager is employed at each School’s Out centre to ensure the high standard of care, attention and education is maintained consistently. Our staff all enjoy interacting with, and caring for children. They are dedicated to providing your child/ren with the best quality care, recreation and education. Our staff have a variety of qualifications and experience and participate in ongoing training to further develop their skills and knowledge. All staff are police checked and employed in accordance with Ministry of Social Development Standards of Approval. All centres are supported by our School’s Out National Office.

We have taken considerable time and care to develop policies and practices that will ensure your child’s safety, security and wellbeing at all times. Copies of our policies are available through our centre office.

Meaning “my special place”. School’s Out has a vision to create unique and special programmes where we have “Safe and happy children, happy parents, happy families” which ultimately leads to “Helping families reach their goals.”
We know families are busy and with out-of-school care becoming more of a necessity than a desire these days, we want to ensure that your children receive the best possible care when they’re not with you. Therefore we strive in our programmes to ensure that School’s Out really is “The best place between school and home.”

OUR STORY
We love communities!
School’s Out is a Tauranga-based Social Enterprise wholly owned by the Wright Family Foundation. Any surpluses that are generated via our centres are transferred to the Wright Family Foundation for distribution to other charitable entities within the education sector.
This means that we not only have a positive influence on those directly involved in our centres, but we can also play a role in improving the lives of those in the wider community.
School’s Out fully supports the work of the Wright Family Foundation and the investment they are making in providing educational services that improve the lives and prospects of New Zealanders.
